The University of South Carolina’s National Big Data Health Science Conference is a signature annual event of the UofSC Big Data Health Science Center (BDHSC).
The theme for the 2020 Conference will be Unlocking the Power of Big Data in Health – Partnerships among Industry, Government, and Academia.
About THE BIG DATA ANNUAL CONFERENCE
The conference will kick off on Sunday afternoon with an intriguing session featuring 3 keynote speakers. Monday will begin with a general session covering large picture keynote presentations from various entities. That afternoon will be filled with additional keynote speech and parallel workshops covering different core areas of the Big Data Health Science Center’s core objectives. Tuesday morning will wrap up the conference with presentations from state hospitals discussing current issues, an overview of the Excellence Initiative project, and a final close out note.
In addition to this schedule of events there will also be an evening with the American College of Healthcare Executive’s dinner and panel session on Sunday and a graduate student multidisciplinary data science case competition beginning on Friday. Additionally, there will be a poster session, vendor exhibits, and networking.
Case Competition
The Big Data Health Science Case Competition will be held between February 7th-9th 2020 before the University of South Carolina’s National Big Data Health Science Conference.
